ORANGE CANTELOUPE
Remove the seeds from small ripe canteloupe and fill the craters with diced orange pulp which has been well sweetened and chilled.
If wanted for breakfast prepare the oranges over night, but do not add to the canteloupe till morning. Vry July Wave Rid
STUFFED CABBAGE
Scoop out the center of a medium-sized head of cabbage. Fill with a pudding made of 12 lb. of pork and 12 lb. of beef chopped very fine, three eggs, a pint of cream and three cups of pulverized zwiebach.
Season with pepper, salt and clove, and tie up in a pudding cloth. Boil from two and a half to three hours and serve with drawn butter.
