1½ cups Five Roses flour Yolks of 3 eggs 1 teaspoon baking powder Grated rind of 1 lemon and 1 teaspoon of juice 1 tablespoon warm water.

Have whites well beaten and add alternately with the flour. Add the warm water last. 1 cup icing sugar ½ cup butter
