1 tablespoon butter 1/2 tablespoons flour 34 cup boiling water 34 cup brown sugar Few gratings of nutmeg Cook the flour in the butter, but do not let it brown; add the water gradually; boil and stir; add the sugar; cook until melted: add the nutmeg and serve hot.
