Raspberry Syrup

Glacial Acetic Acid.

Red Orange. (See Blood Orange.) I gallon I ounce Regent Punch.

This is the Most Delicious Punch Made.

Grate the rind of 2 lemons and 4 oranges, add 2 teaspoonfuls of best vanilla extract, 2 cloves, and a 2-inch stick of cinnamon, cover with a hot syrup (3 pounds sugar and I quart water) let all stand in a warm place for several hours. Add juice of 24 lemons, and I quart of Santa Croix rum. Strain. Put into punch bowl with lump of ice and serve in a mineral glass half full of punch and solid soda water.

Rex Phosphate.

Orange syrup, I pint; strawberry syrup, ½ pint; pineapple syrup, ½ pint; phosphoric acid syrup, 2 drams; compound tincture cudbear, 2 ounces; angostura bitters, 2 ounces; citrate caffein, 1½ dram. Mix syrup first, then add acid, cudbear and bitters. Add caffein last, after dissolving in warm water.

Rich Chocolate Frappe. * One ounce chocolate paste, 1/2 ounce grated cocoanut, white I egg. Frappe these ingredients thoroughly with a spoon, add hot water and top off with a spoonful of ice cream. The water must be boiling hot. Ripe Orange Frappe.

Juice of I orange, 12 ounce raspberry syrup, I dram lemon juice, I tablespoonful sugar, 1½ glassful shaved ice. About half fill the glass with the coarse stream, stir, strain into a mineral water glass and fill with carbonated water.

Robinhood Sundae.

One-half pound marron glaces chopped fine; 1½ gallon maple syrup; 1/2 pound grated nuts. This will make nearly 2/3 of a gallon. Mix well and pour ladleful over ice cream. Top off with whipped cream.
