Raspberry Syrup (I ounce ounce Add a little)

I ounce 1/2 ounce # Add a little shaved ice, a dash of angostura bitters, a dash of acid phosphate. Mix well with a spoon, and strain into a stem champagne glass and fill with solid soda. Stick stuffed olive on a wooden toothpick and float in the glass. Twist a piece of lemon peel over top of the drink and serve quickly.

An olive may also be used as an addition to a cherry cocktail in place of a maraschino cherry. "Ollie Moore."

One-half ounce lemon syrup, 1/2 ounce raspberry syrup, I ounce orange syrup, 2 ounces sweet cream, i egg, cracked ice. Shake, strain, add soda, toss and serve. This makes a very nice drink.

Oolong Glace.

Seven ounces plain soda, 11/2 ounces tea syrup, 1½ ounce lemon syrup. Stir with spoon and pour into mineral tumbler filled with shaved ice.

Opera Sundae.

Peel a good sized seedless orange; cut 3 slices and lay on a round plate. On each slice lay a spoonful of ice cream, 3 kinds, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Shape it round over the cream; pour maraschino syrup and top with maraschino cherries.

There is as much difference between the soda of different stores as between the roast beef of different restaurants.

Orange Blend.

One ounce vanilla syrup, I ounce red orange syrup, 2 ounces ice cream, ¼ glass ice. Shake, strain, toss and serve.

Orange Cider.
