Vanilla Syrup (II)

Sherry Cobbler Syrup.

Mix equal quantities of good sherry and simple syrup, and flavor with either fresh lime juice, 4 ounces to the gallon, or lemons sliced whole, 4 to the gallon. When lemons are used it is well to macerate over night. Serve in a mineral glass with a dash of phosphate, shaved ice and a straw. Sherry Flip.

One ounce of "Don't Care" syrup, 4 dashes of sherry, I egg, a little cream, cracked ice. Shake up well, fill glass with fine stream, strain into a clean glass and sprinkle ground nutmeg on top.

Siberian Freeze.

One-half tumblerful shaved ice, I ounce claret syrup, 1 teaspoonful lemon juice, 1½ orange, 1 teaspoonful powdered sugar. Fill with plain soda. Stir with spoon and add I slice pineapple and I sprig of mint. Serve with straws. Siberian Flip.
