A Good Way to Mend Oilcloth

If you accidentally slit your nice, new, figured oilcloth tablecover, cut a piece of white court-plaster a little longer and wider than the cut. Wet it and paste it down on the wrong side over the cut, and you have your oilcloth mended. It keeps the oilcloth from tearing more or fraying out. -Miss L. G. E., Pecatonica, Ill.
