One pint flour, one teacupful boiled and mashed sweet potatoes, one teaspoonful salt, tablespoonful sugar, one of butter, a scant half teaspoonful soda, and enough buttermilk-about a teacupful to make a soft dough; roll, cut into biscuit and bake in quick oven. Are as wholesome as toothsome, and take particularly well with children.
