1 cup cream 1 cup sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon cream of tartar ½ teaspoon soda' ½ teaspoon salt Five Roses flour to make soft dough.

Roll thin and bake in quick oven.

Flavour with nutmeg, lemon or ratafia.
