Prairie Oyster.
Draw dash soda in glass, add salt and lemon juice and serve.
A Novelty.
I gallon 2 ounces I ounce Draw dash soda in glass, add I egg, vinegar I dram, season with pepper, Serve with glass of seltzer on the side.
Prepared Milk.
The prepared milk prescribed for the dispensing of many of the hot drinks is made by taking I pint of pure milk, 4 ounces condensed milk, 1/8 ounce extract vanilla, and 5 grains of bicarbonate of soda, mixing. Prepared Spice.
Powdered allspice, 1/2 ounce; powdered nutmeg, 1 ounce; powdered cloves, I ounce; powdered cinnamon, I ounce.
You don't want accidental trade on soda-you want regular custom. The fountain tells people whether you are making a specialty of soda or not. Princess Punch.
Put in a mixing glass: Claret wine, 1/2 ounce; wild cherry syrup, 14 ounce; raspberry syrup, 4 ounce; Cohasset, 1/2 ounce; lemon juice, 3 dashes. Fill glass with plain White Rock water and shaved ice, mix with a spoon, do not shake. Pour into 12-ounce tall glass and top with fruit; serve with straws. Punchine.
Cracked ice, ½ tumblerful; juice of 1/2 orange; lemon juice, I dash; curacoa cordial, I dash; claret syrup, I ounce; Catawba syrup, I ounce; plain soda, 1 tumblerful. Stir, strain and serve.
Queen's Favorite.
Shaved Ice.
Pineapple, Raspberry and Vanilla Syrups Egg 1½ tumblerful 1/2 ounce each I Add milk enough to nearly fill a glass. Shake well, fill glass with soda water, drawing fine stream. Grate nutmeg on top and serve. Queen's Favorite.
Orange syrup, I ounce; grape juice, I ounce; ice 2/3, dash lemon juice and Jamaica ginger; soda to fill glass.
Rapid Transit.
Tea syrup, I pint; vanilla syrup, 8 ounces; solution acid phosphate, 1/2 ounce; foam extract, 1/2 ounce; simple syrup, 3 pints. Color with caramel.
