American Strawberry Color (I quart quarts I ounce I ounce)

I quart 4 quarts I ounce I ounce Strawberry Jam.

One-third glass shaved ice, I dash strawberry juice, 2 ounces strawberry syrup, 2 teaspoonfuls crushed strawberries. Fill with plain soda. Stir with spoon and add 4 halves of strawberries. Serve with spoon and straws. Strawberry Lime Cordial.

Two-thirds glass shaved ice, 1 ounce lime juice, 2 ounces strawberry syrup, Fill with soda, drawing solid, stir gently. Straws.

Strawberry Sundae Sauce.

Boil together for 10 minutes 34 of a cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Rub through a vegetable press a pint of strawberries, and when the syrup is cool add the strawberry pulp and a teaspoonful of vanilla. Serve over ice cream for a sundae.
