Water (Ounces ounces Dissolve)
6 ounces 15 ounces Dissolve and filter. This is a wholesome and palatable acid phosphate, and is preferable to any in the market.
It should be used in a squirt-top bottle.
After Dinners.
Powderette. Serve in pousse cafe glass, two-thirds full of crême de coco, float sweet cream on top. An easy way to lay the cream is to pour it into a teaspoon, holding the spoon just at the surface of the cordial. Marshmallow. -Pousse cafe glass two-thirds full of maraschino, float sweet cream on top.
White Cap. Pousse cafe glass two-thirds full of crême de y'vette, float sweet cream on top.
Kentucky Rosebud.--Same as above, only use crême de rose. A Game Winner.
Juice of I lemon, I ounce pure grape juice, I egg, 2 tablespoonfuls powdered sugar, small quantity shaved ice. Shake well and strain. Add plain soda, fine and coarse stream, to fill glass. Serve straight in 12-ounce lemonade glass and garnish with orange and cherry. Alaska Snow Ball.
One-half ounce pineapple syrup, 1/2 ounce lemon syrup, 1½ ounce orange syrup, 1 egg, 2 ounces plain cream, 4 glass shaved ice. Shake, strain, toss and serve.
Alhambra Cream Syrup.
Seven ounces cream, 2 ounces peach syrup, 6 ounces orange syrup, 9 ounces vanilla syrup. Use ounce of this mixture when dispensing. Fill the glass half full. Then add a coarse stream and then a fine stream in quick dashes until filled.
