Boiled onions or Brussels sprouts

Salad: French endive, diced apple and grated carrots, Thousand Island dressing

Plum pudding, vanilla sauce

Café noir (made of coffee substitute) If turkey or capon is used in place of goose or duck, substitute cranberry sauce for apple sauce.

Dressing is used to flavor the fowl. It really should not be eaten.

Plum pudding is customary but not compulsory.
