Cherry Ferri--American
The greatest nerve tonic of the age. Use one ounce to glass, fill glass with solid soda, stir and serve.
Cherry Fizz.
One and one-half ounces cherry syrup, I to 2 ounces lemon juice. Draw into a mixing glass, fill half full of cracked ice, stir well, strain into a fancy glass which has previously been filled about one-third full of fine ice, add a very little sodium bicarbonate on the end of a spoon, stir well, add a slice of lemon and orange or a cherry and orange.
Cherry Flip.
Serve I ounce of the following syrup with enough water to fill glass: One ounce fluid extract wild cherry, I ounce Jamaica rum, 1 ounce solution citric acid, sufficient red coloring and syrup enough to make ½ gallon. Cherry Glace.
Take a 5-ounce sherbet glass, fill with shaved ice, add 1 ounce cherry syrup and a dash of acid phosphate, and top off with 3 or 4 of American Maraschino Cherries. This makes one of the nicest drinks for a hot day that can be served at the fountain.
If your fountain is small, serve the well-known popular flavors. Do not attempt to introduce new drinks.
Cherry Jingle.
Three ounces cherry syrup; I ounce lemon juice. Put several sprays of mint and half a glass of cracked ice in mixing glass, shake well sprays and add and half a glass of cracked ice in mixing glass, shake well and add above. Strain into a 10-ounce glass and draw coarse stream. Decorate with cherry.
Cherry Malt Tonic.
Malt extract, 8 ounces; tincture celery seed, 2 drams; orange syrup, 4 ounces; comp. tincture gentian, I dram lemon syrup, to make 2 pints. Mix ; comp. tincture gentian , I dram; lemon syrup, to make 2 pints. Mix and serve I ounce in an 8-ounce mineral glass, with or without phosphate.
Cherry Nectar.
