Water (Thinly sliced Oranges)

Thinly sliced Oranges and Apples 4 2 quarts 2 quarts 1/2 pint 1/2 pint 4 quarts I each Ping-Pong Soda.

Make an emulsion of I ounce of cocoanut oil in 3 ounces of mucilage of acacia, add gradually 3 pints of heavy foam syrup and I pint of chocolate , add gradually 3 pints of heavy foam syrup and I pint of chocolate syrup. (Heavy foam syrup for the above is made as follows. Dissolve I gallon of water and I ounce of gelatin and 12 pounds of sugar.) This drink should be very cold and should contain a generous quantity of ice cream. Pistachio Punch.

Draw I ounce lemon syrup into an 8-ounce mineral tumbler; add 14 ounce pistachio syrup, 1/2 ounce milk, 1/2 ounce claret wine, I egg, and shaved ice; shake thoroughly, strain, and top off with powdered nutmeg. Serve.
