Plain Biscuits (First Prize Fall Fair)

Into 1 sifter of Five Roses flour, put 1 teaspoon soda, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons sugar. Sift 2 or 3 three times, then mix with 2 cups cream and 2 of buttermilk. Roll out half an inch thick, put into smart oven and bake.
