Tomato Rarebit

2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons flour 3/4 cup of milk Salt, mustard, cayenne 1/8 teaspoon soda 1 pound cheese 3/4 cup stewed and strained tomatoes Cook the butter and flour together, add the milk, and as soon as the mixture thickens, add tomatoes and soda. Then add cheese and seasoning. Serve on toasted whole wheat or graham bread.
